RC US rights bagged by GK Media

The most awaited Suriya’s Rattha Charithram USA theatrical rights are bagged by GK Media. The company is one of the fast growing companies in US and overseas.

The Telugu version of Raktha Charithram Part 1 is already a blockbuster hit in USA and in rest of the world. The Tamil version will have Suriya who is playing a vital role and the story is totally based on Suriya’s role. The film prior to its release is carrying a positive talk about Suriya’s performance and RGV’s direction. This film will definitely leave mark in Suriya’s career.

Director RGV said: “I never knew what mafia and gang war were until I saw Godfather. It was a foreign story but its emotions were universal. Same is true with Rattha Charithram”. Expressing hope that the movie would do well in Tamil, the ace filmmaker adds: “It would embolden me to keep making Tamil movies. Kollywood has evolved a lot. We get to see movies of various genres getting released in the south”.

On talking about Suriya, he said, “Suriya has donned the role of Suri, who takes up arms for settling scores with his enemies. I have great regard for Suriya. Working with him has been a delightful experience. He has the intensity of a volcano. He is capable of doing any kind of role”.

The film is hitting the screens on November 26th globally and will definitely leave a mark in the world cinema.
